Classes
CLASS POLICIES
In order to secure your spot in a class, payment is required at the time of reservation. Because we prefer to keep our classes small and often cap classes at 4-6 students, no-shows and last minute cancellations will not be refunded. We value our instructor’s time, and want to make sure they are compensated fairly for the work they do. Should you want to take this class at a future date, you will need to pay again.
Tuition will be refunded if the class is cancelled by Woven Art due to low enrollment, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. If you cancel within three days of the first class meeting, we will refund your class fee. In either of these cases, we are also happy to apply your class fee to a future class if you prefer.
Thank you for buying your supplies at Woven Art, your support keeps our doors open. While we do not require that class materials be purchased from us, we do require good quality materials to ensure the best outcome for you. Please pay close attention to the materials list for each class so that you are appropriately prepared for class.
In the event of inclement weather, Woven Art *may* cancel or reschedule a class - we will post shop/class closures on our Facebook page and Instagram feed and make every effort to reach our students. If you feel that it is not safe to travel to the shop, please call us.
Private Lessons
By appointment only; day & evening time slots available.
Do you have a pile of unfinished projects waiting to be seamed or kitchener stitched? Need a little help picking up stitches for your buttonband, or pulling out a too-tight bind-off? Don't know your mattress stitch from your whip stitch? Private sessions are now available to help you solve the problems and straddle the hurdles that keep you from finishing your projects. You will learn how to finish your garments and projects so that you build up your skill set for the future.
Please call the shop for scheduling information.
