Our crocheted Mid-Mitten Shop Hop pattern for 2023 features two bags you can make from one set of instructions. Suitable for beginning crocheters, this pattern uses magic ring, single crochets, and simple increases. Instructions also include how to hand-sew in a zipper (easy-peasy!), and we recommend these zippers for our pattern as written.
You can crochet the bag to any dimension, but we recommend you have the zipper on hand FIRST to ensure a good fit.
Yarn: Universal Yarn Deluxe Bulky Superwash (100% superwash wool; 106 yards / 3½ oz, 97 m / 100 g)
Oriole Bag sample uses 2 balls Adobe
Half Moon Pouch sample uses 1 ball Honey Dew
Note: Following directions as written, 2 balls of yarn will make both bags.
gauge: 14 stitches x 15 rounds = 4 inches in single crochet, blocked
