Jamieson's of Shetland 2-ply fingering weight yarns are 100% Shetland wool, and are traditionally used in the knitting of Fair Isle garments. Available in the full palette of 225 beautiful shades - we are building our selection!  This is a wooly wool that softens with washing and wearing. It will naturally resist pilling. Jamieson’s produces authentic yarns grown & spun on the Shetland Islands.  Located in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland, Shetland has a rich hand-knitting tradition & is known for stranded colorwork.  Fair Isle is part of the Shetland Islands.
